Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab / EP Lab

+$2.50/hr forweekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) to assist with invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology Lab. This role includes direct patient care, procedural support, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. On-call coverage for after-hours cases in the Cath Lab is required.

Qualifications
•ARRT and/or RCIS and/or RN licensure in good standing.
•BLS required within the conditional period
•ACLS required within the conditional period
•RCES and/or CEPS preferred for EP Lab.
•Minimum of one year experience in an Acute Care setting required and one year of Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred.
Responsibilities
•Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with current clinical standards, protocols, and hospital policies.
•Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of cardiac procedures.
•Review all pre-procedural labs, imaging, and patient history to ensure safety; report and document any abnormal or incomplete findings to the cardiologist prior to the procedure
•Continuously monitor patient condition throughout procedures, ensuring timely recognition and response to changes in vital signs or clinical status.
•Provide post-procedural care, including achieving and maintaining arterial and/or venous hemostasis, and prepare patients for transfer to the next level of care.
•Assist with patient recovery in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
•Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures; promptly report any malfunctions.
•Stay informed on new equipment and technology introduced to the Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab; request additional training when needed.
•Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours coverage in the Cath Lab, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, meeting restricted response times as required.
•Communicate procedural schedules, delays, and updates with the supervisor and procedural team.
•Maintain supply inventory by stocking rooms and notifying appropriate personnel when items need reordering.
