Cardiovascular Sonographer - Cardiovascular Center

Description

• Perform echocardiograms
• Stress echo
• TEE
• Carotid duplex
• Peripheral arterial and venous duplex of upper and lower extremities
• Lower extremity arterial bypass
• Pre-surgical vein mapping (both upper and lower extremities)
• Renal artery and mesenteric duplex exams

You will shadow senior technologists to learn more advanced procedures that include, but are not limited to:

• Intraoperative scanning
• Duplex studies of dialysis accesses
• HERO grafts
• Renal artery bypass

Experience & Education

• Graduate of a CVT Program.
• Applicants registered through the Association of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) are preferred.
• Must at least be eligible to take the Registry exam as administered by ARDMS and/or CCI at the earliest opportunity.
