    Salary: $57,332 - $77,083 (Salary commensurate with rank.)

     

    What You'll Do: 

    • Teach assigned cardiovascular sonography courses and facilitate engaging classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences.
    • Develop and maintain course syllabi, catalog content, policies, procedures, learning outcomes, and curriculum revisions.
    • Coordinate course schedules, faculty assignments, clinical placements, student orientations, and program requirements.
    • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, clinical readiness, academic records, and required documentation.
    • Maintain program statistics, student files, clinical records, syllabi, examinations, and accreditation-related materials.
    • Communicate regularly with students, faculty, the Director, clinical partners, advisory committees, and other college stakeholders.
    • Support students through advising, registration, graduation preparation, certification examination processes, and required board paperwork.
    • Evaluate program outcomes and contribute to annual reports, systematic plans of evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Promote a respectful, equitable, and supportive learning environment.
    • Reinforce safety standards and provide hands-on support in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
    • Participate in faculty meetings, orientation, graduation, recruiting events, professional development, in-service training, and other college activities.
    • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director, Dean, or Vice Chancellor.

     

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Associate degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, or equivalent.
    • Cardiovascular credential in noninvasive vascular studies, adult echocardiography, or both.
    • At least two years of experience in cardiovascular healthcare.
    • Demonstrated clinical and teaching experience.
    • Strong organizational, communication, advising, and student-support skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, students, and clinical-site partners.
    • Flexibility to adjust teaching schedules and responsibilities based on enrollment and program needs.
