JOB SUMMARY
Acquires and analyzes data using ultrasound and related diagnostic technologies for carotid duplex evaluations, peripheral vascular Doppler, transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiogram, and exercise cardiac imaging
Documents accurately and in a timely manner. Communicates and collaborates with health care team members.
Adheres to organizational policy and procedures, regulatory/accrediting body requirements and professional practice standards.
Assesses patient and provides summary of findings to the physician. Uses independent judgment and systematic problem solving methods to produce high quality diagnostic information and optimize patient care and optimize patient care.
Requirements Include
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current registry eligibility in echocardiography or vascular technology
RVT, RCS, RDCS or RDMS preferred
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required
