**Description** **PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist / Cath Lab Tech for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE position (4x10's, start times to vary between 0700, 0900 and 1000).** **Compensation and Benefits** + **$48.45 - $72.74.** The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. + Hiring Bonus and Relocation Assistance May be Available + **Low cost** full medical/dental/vision coverage + 403b retirement plan **employer base** _and_ **matching contributions** + **Generous** paid time off + **Employer-paid life and disability insurance** with additional buyup coverage options + Tuition and continuing education reimbursement + Wellness benefits, and expanded EAP and mental health program. **What you'll be doing:** + Uses a variety of specialized equipment in assisting the physician in the performance of all invasive procedures resulting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. + Assists physician in performing invasive procedures. May perform related radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging techniques to demonstrate catheter location, position, and document findings. + Scrubs in for handling guide wires, catheter, administering contrast injections, flushing catheters, and other scrub duties as assigned per specialty. + Performs pre-procedural patient care activities. + Monitors and records patient's condition and procedures' progress. Retrieves and reviews patient data. **What you'll bring:** **Education / Experience:** + Accredited Cardiovascular Secondary Education Program OR Accredited Radiologic Technology Secondary Education Program Required + Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required or equivalent, OR previous experience working in a hospital setting required. **Credentials** + Required: RCIS Required, or in place of an RCIS, an ARRT is required. An ARRT requires the addition of an ARRT-CV or ARRT-CI and ARRT-VI within 1 year from date of hire. + Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support + Required within 6 months: Advanced Cardiac Life Support + May be required: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification + Preferred: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist **Why Bellingham?** Located 90 minutes north of Seattle and 30 minutes south of British Columbia, Canada, this idyllic city has been rated as one of America's most desirable communities.
