Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

Shift & Schedule: Variable Shift | 72 Hours Bi-Weekly
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Cardiovascular Technologist for an exciting opportunity in Dover, DE.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Support peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms prior to procedures
- Verify patient documentation, physician orders, and informed consents before procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and X-ray equipment accurately and independently
- Monitor and document procedural information within the MacLab system
- Assist with achieving hemostasis following procedures
- Administer intracoronary medications in accordance with hospital policies
- Ensure radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance are maintained
- Participate in procedure room turnover while following infection control protocols
- Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing professional development activities
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program required
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (RT) Certification required
- Medical Radiologic Technologist License required where applicable
- ACLS Certification required
- BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire if not already obtained
- Minimum 18 months of diagnostic radiology experience required
OR
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program with recommendations from the Program Director and Clinical Site Preceptor
Additional Certification Requirements
- Graduates of Cardiovascular Technology programs must obtain/hold RCIS Certification
- Graduates of Radiologic Technology programs must obtain/hold ARRT (RT) Certification
- Required certifications must be obtained within four months of hire if not already held
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, or peripheral vascular procedures preferred
- Experience with fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and MacLab documentation systems preferred
- Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills
