A Cardiovascular Technologist opportunity is available in Panama City, FL at a 238-bed acute care hospital that holds Advanced Primary Stroke Care certification, Comprehensive Breast Care Center accreditation, and is the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. The facility also houses the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region, as well as the community's only Pediatric ER.

The role. Working under general supervision, the Cardiovascular Technologist prepares patients and equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. The position involves performing highly specialized radiographic procedures to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency across a variety of anatomical structures, as well as conducting hemodynamic monitoring throughout those procedures. The technologist also supports the broader care team by contributing to patient and family care and assists with patient transport to and from the lab to keep daily operations running efficiently.

What we're looking for.

  • 1 year of previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required
  • Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 45 days of hire date

Schedule. Days with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $29.56 - $44.34/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
