We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Thoracic (Operating Room) Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Required Skills:
- Current CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience with hands-on bypass surgery (CABG) experience required
- Proven ability to independently manage complex CVOR cases as a Circulator
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and thoracic procedures and protocols
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations specifically for CVOR cases
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in trauma or urgent cardiovascular procedures
- Familiarity with advanced perioperative nursing practices
- Additional certifications in cardiovascular or thoracic nursing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in CVOR or cardiac surgery settings
- Prior experience managing bypass surgeries, especially CABG procedures
Other Requirements:
- Availability for the 7/13/2026 start date
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 0630-1500, with on-call responsibilities
- No background hits; adherence to zero-tolerance policy
- Ability to handle intermittent CVOR cases that require precise timing and leadership
