Benkhill Lodge in Bedale is a residential service providing personal care to permanent residential clients as well as short term respite clients. At Benkhill Lodge our priority is the people we support and making a difference to them.

We are currently looking to recruit a Part Time Care and Support Worker to join our Team - could this be you?  You don't need to have previous experience of working in care, nor do you need qualifications, we would be delighted to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.

As a care and support worker every day will be different, you will play an important role in supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them. Your role will be fundamental in delivering personal care to vulnerable people, ensuring their dignity and maximise their independence.

There is an element of flexibility required for the role and as part of a 7-day service, on a rota basis, you will be required to work some evenings and weekends for which we will pay an enhancement. We could help you to achieve a better work life balance, perhaps enabling you to pursue other employment, hobbies or interests outside of work.

If you've got experience, that's great, we'd love to hear from you. If not, don't worry, we'll give you all the help and support you need to settle in quickly. If you do not already hold the Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care that isn't a problem, we will support you to achieve this through our apprenticeship training route.

At NYC we provide a wide range of staff benefits, some of which include:

  • Full support to achieve level 2 in Health & Social Care
  • Extensive training and learning
  • Opportunities for progression into other roles
