    Gastro Health is currently looking for an enthusiastic full-time Care Coordinator to join our team!

    Our Care Coordinators provide comprehensive care coordination including managing patient care and coordinating patient treatment plans.

    Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:

    • Provide administrative support for the physician and/or care center provider
    • Serve as the “liaison” for the patient's medical care by streamlining all patient-physician communications.
    • Educate patients and assist them with questions and/or concerns regarding procedures.
    • Manage patient scheduling (confirmations, follow-ups, appointment setting, etc.) and maintain maximum scheduling efficiency.
    • Obtain insurance authorizations, medical records, prescriptions, and lab results.
    • Facilitate patient check-out, communicate test results and update electronic medical records as needed.
    • Minimum Requirements:

      • High school diploma or GED equivalent
      • Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred
      • 2+ years experience as medical assistant required
      • Medical terminology knowledge
      • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
