Overview:Hours: 8hr shifts, 11:00am- 7:30pm. Mainly M-F with very minimal weekend shift (1-2 weekend days in a six week schedule block schedule).
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Care Partner provides patient and administrative support to Nursing staff as necessary. The main PACU has 20 beds and 2 isolation rooms.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred. Able to write, speak fluently and understand English. Basic knowledge of computers desired.
Nursing Student Applicants: Completion of pediatric rotation preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: High school graduate or GED required. Current BLS from American Heart Association.
