Overview:Schedule: Nights 7pm-7:30am
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Care Partner provides patient and administrative support to Nursing staff as necessary.
Duque: A 52-bed medical/surgical unit that cares for a broad range of patients including NICCU graduates, respiratory diagnoses such as bronchiolitis, and short stay general surgery, ENT and orthopedic patients. There is also a section designated for the epilepsy monitoring unit, patients with neurological disorders and patients with behavioral health issues and eating disorders.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Able to write, speak fluently and understand English. 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred. Pediatric experience preferred.
Nursing Student Applicants: Completion of pediatric rotation preferred. Preferrably not graduating within the next two years.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School graduate or GED required. Current American Heart Association BLS required.
