Overnight Shift Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time, up to 19 hours per week
Available Shifts:
- Evening Shift: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Overnight Shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
RequirementsPenmac Staffing is seeking compassionate and dependable Care Support Specialists to assist residents in a maternity home environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and supporting women and infants during an important stage of life. Qualified candidates should:
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Have basic cooking and meal preparation skills
- Be willing to learn trauma-informed care practices
- Be able to assist with resident support, documentation, and household duties
- Have the ability to lift and move items as needed for daily operations
ResponsibilitiesAs a Care Support Specialist, you will help manage daily resident routines, support postpartum mothers, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and their children. This role combines resident care, household support, and administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with daily routines and program expectations
- Providing basic self-care support for postpartum residents, including hygiene, breastfeeding, and childcare assistance
- Monitoring household cleanliness, organization, and supply levels
- Processing donations and preparing rooms for incoming residents
- Answering phones, taking messages, and assisting with intake assessments
- Assisting with medication documentation
- Ensuring residents complete chores and maintain room standards
- Conducting safety checks throughout the facility, including safe sleep environment checks
- Performing random urine screenings and breathalyzer testing as required
- Preparing meals for groups of residents
- Providing transportation support as needed
- Completing documentation and other duties assigned by management
Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:
- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force consistently
- Perform a variety of standing, walking, lifting, and housekeeping activities
