Career Advisor for STEM and Pre-Health
Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Career Center, the Career Advisor for STEM and Pre-Health is a key member of the Career Center team, providing comprehensive career planning and preparation for students pursuing STEM fields and health professions. This position is responsible for supporting students and alumni intending to pursue careers in STEM fields: biology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental sciences, exercise science, health science, math and computer science, physics and engineering, and psychology. The position provides strategic and practical guidance and support for STEM students who are pursuing graduate programs in these fields. As a specialized Career Advisor, this role also acts as a liaison with STEM academic advisors to develop curricular and co-curricular support services. Culturally competent programming and support of first-generation students are key priorities for professional development and student support services at Saint Mary's College.

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
