Duties

Peotone Elementary School has an opening for the Career and Technical Education Teacher (1st Semester Only) position for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will teach Introduction to Career and Technical Education and Woodworking/Cabinetmaking.

Starting salary 2026-2027: BA ($45,428); MA ($49,921); MA+15 ($51,239); MA+30 ($52,560) + based on education and experience. Annual salary is regionally competitive with consideration of previous, relevant teaching experience. Peotone CUSD 207U Board of Education pays the full employee share of pension contributions (TRS 9%), 100% of the health insurance costs for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy.
