The School of Education - Career & Community Studies is seeking CCS Student Workers/CCS Mentors for the program''s needs for FY 26. TCNJ provides a small cohort of students with Intellectual Disabilities ages 18-25 with a four year residential course of study that utilizes a system of peer mentoring. Payrate: $15.92/hour Main Responsibilities: Promote inclusion within the college community Assist and guide CCS enrolled students for the purpose of unlocking and achieving individual potential Provide support for successful inclusion within traditional college classes Provide support for both on and off campus experiences and internships as needed Provide support for all student life activities Learning Objectives: Basic understanding of Intellectual Disabilities Peer mentoring methods and instruction Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities Enrolled within the Special Education major Experience within the community and campus resources About TCNJ The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is a highly selective institution that is consistently recognized as one of the top comprehensive colleges in the nation.
