Hours:
1st Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overview of services and assess customer/participant skills, needs, goals, barriers, and referral requirements
Establish clear expectations and develop individual career plans using motivational techniques
Address barriers to education or employment and make appropriate referrals
Assist clients with career exploration, goal setting, and creating job search strategies
Implement and monitor individual plans, maintaining ongoing communication
Recognize and address service flow issues, schedule monitoring, and report problems
Collect feedback from customers about programs and services
Manage caseload through effective report writing, case notes, and maintaining updated files
Utilize state and local information systems to track progress and document services
Attend meetings, training, and participate in additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in Social Work, Education, or related field preferred
Good customer service and interpersonal skills
Discretion, good judgment, and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance
Experience working with diverse populations
Knowledge of workforce development systems and labor market trends
Strong communication skills in oral and written formats
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree preferred in Social Work, Education, or related field
Experience in case management, counseling, or workforce development preferred
Other Requirements:
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
Ability to work on-site at the Salem location
