Career Heavy Assembler

Trinity Rail is hiring a Career Heavy Assembler at our Jonesboro plant.

The Career Heavy Assembler position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you will assemble mechanical units, fabricate parts/component subassemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. Repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Prepares materials, surfaces for coverage with glue and insulation material.

What you'll do:

• · Mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks)

• · Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified)

• · Read blueprints

• · May operate overhead cranes

• · May use hand tools to bend or form parts

• · May tack weld

What you'll need:

• Minimum 0-1 years of related technical experience

• Minimum 0-1 year manufacturing experience

• Excellent Attendance

• Strong work ethic

• Desire to build a career
