The Career Pathways reports directly to the Sheridan College Dean of Business and Industry. The position is a full-time, in-person, 12-month staff position in the Business department. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day work and support of the Northern Wyoming Career Pathways Partnership (NWCPP) consortium efforts. This role is central to student success and data-informed planning. The counselor will manage and share data from YouScience, and other sources across partner institutions, and will support educators and counselors in using that data for student advising and career pathway planning.
This position plays a key role in strengthening the bridge between education and industry across our region. The successful candidate will support efforts to connect employers with both Sheridan and Johnson County K-12 schools and Sheridan College to expand work-based learning opportunities for students during all stages of their educational journey. Working closely with regional partners, this role helps foster employer involvement into career pathway design, curriculum development, and industry-recognized credentials, while ensuring student learning aligns with the evolving needs of our workforce.
