The Career Services Advisor will ensure that students and graduates are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence necessary to secure employment in their chosen field of study.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding tailored career guidance to students and graduates, ensuring alignment with their healthcare career aspirationsDeveloping and implementing strategic plans to achieve employment placement goals for graduatesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare employers to create opportunities for graduate placementEnsuring compliance with all regulatory standards, including state, federal, and accrediting body requirementsContributing to the organizational mission by acting as a positive representative of CHCP within the communityEmpower students and graduates to secure employment in their field of study and initiate their healthcare careersManage a population of graduates, providing personalized assistance in job placement within the Allied Healthcare fieldOffer guidance on interview techniques, workplace expectations, resume development, and other job search best practicesDevelop and execute strategic plans to achieve employment placement goals for students and graduatesConsistently meet or exceed departmental performance metrics, including talk time, interviews, hires, and monthly graduate placement goalsSupport Directors in advertising, recruiting externship and placement sites, marketing to the medical community, and monitoring student progress during externshipsAct as a positive representative of CHCP within the community, fostering relationships and promoting career servicesParticipate in staff meetings and student orientation sessions to ensure alignment with organizational objectivesEnsure strict compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting rules and regulationsBuild and maintain positive relationships with students throughout their educational journey to promote career services offeringsAssociate degree or equivalent professional experienceDemonstrated ability to thrive in a high-powered, dynamic, and results-driven environmentPrior experience in employment staffing, career services, outplacement services, or salesQualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent professional experienceDemonstrated ability to thrive in a high-powered, dynamic, and results-driven environmentPrior experience in employment staffing, career services, outplacement services, or salesOrganization and LocationCHCP (The College of Health Care Professions) is a premier healthcare education institution offering comprehensive programs in allied health, nursing, and related fields.
