Career Tech Training Substitute

Wage - $144.00 per day

Schedule - On-call, as needed, Monday - Friday

What you will be doing: You'll be responsible for the career technical instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic goals.

Essential functions:

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Substitute teaching certification/license, or accredited as required by the state of employment.
• Two (2) years of related trade experience and skill to instruct with designated subject matter area.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
