Job Summary The Plumbing Pathway CTE Teacher prepares students for careers in the building and construction trades with an emphasis on residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems. Through structured instruction, hands-on training, and career-focused learning experiences, the teacher builds students foundational knowledge in plumbing codes, pipe systems, tools, and equipment safety practices, blueprint reading, and installation and repair procedures. The program emphasizes professionalism, craftsmanship, problem-solving, and alignment with Residential and Commercial Construction Pathway CTE standards within the Building & Construction Trades Industry Sector.
Requirements and Qualifications • Valid Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential in Building and Construction Trades or a minimum of three (3) years of recent relevant experience in building and construction trades or a related field. • Plumbing, pipefitting, or related trade experience is highly desirable.
