Caregiver / Household Support Assistant

Location: Borrego Springs, CA and Surrounding Areas


We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Caregiver / Household Support Assistant to provide light caregiving and household assistance for clients in Borrego Springs and nearby communities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment while providing friendly companionship and support.


Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping duties
• General cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living areas
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Organizing household items and maintaining a tidy environment
• Laundry, folding clothes, and changing bed linens
• Washing dishes and light kitchen cleanup
• Meal preparation and simple cooking assistance as needed
• Grocery shopping and running errands
• Provide companionship and friendly conversation
• Assist with daily household tasks while promoting client independence
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or needs

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or housekeeping experience preferred 
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Background check required
