We would love to pair you with our clients to play games, complete puzzlesactivitiesdrawings, discuss books and shows, or any other engaging activity. Take them to the library, or to run errands and have them feel included in normal tasks that they need to complete. If you can show up consistently, you will make a big difference in their life!

    Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives by supporting their health, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver essential assistance with Activities of Daily Living while fostering independence and comfort for those in need. Your energetic and positive approach will help create a nurturing environment that promotes dignity and quality of life.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathingdressinggrooming, and mobility to enhance comfort and independence
    • Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation
    • Medication reminders according to care plans and document all care provided with attention to detail
    • Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
    • Support clients with light housekeeping tasksmeal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands
    • Follow established care protocols while maintaining a safe environment for clients at all times

    Requirements

    • Prior experience working as an In Home Caregiver or in related settings such as geriatrics, post-acute care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred
    • Experience with dementia clients and their unique needs
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately
    • Certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is appreciated
    • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility needs safely
    • Reliable transportation and willingness to provide transportation for client in personal vehicle
    • Must pass a criminal background check (Federal, State, Local, DMV, CAPS, DORA, OIG)
    • Must pass a drug panel including active marijuana use.
    • Must be able to stoop or bend repeatedly, carry bundles, and assist clients with transfers and general mobility/stability.
    • Must Read, Write, and Speak English with clear and strong communication skills!
