Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and well-being.
- Help with mobility and transportation to appointments or errands.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client care and condition.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and assisting with mobility.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the Canton, MI area.
- Flexible availability to meet clients’ scheduling needs.
- Pass background check as part of the hiring process.
