We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Wailuku location is a 90-bed nursing facility.The Position:We're looking for a caring and compassionate Substitute Caregiver (Companion) to sustain our Kupuna through hospitable, welcoming personal care, homemaking, and befriending. Responsibilities include:Providing direct services to the residents of the ARCH, supporting their daily living needs, and supplementing the care of the nurse in a holistic approach to care.Recognize, record, and report to the nurse in a timely manner any significant change in the resident's health status, and/or mental or physical well-being.Demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to adult and geriatric patient populations.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum age of 18Must complete a state approved Nurse Aide Training ProgramCPR and First Aide CertificationValid driver's licenseCertified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii, preferred2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house)The Benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO)Tuition Reimbursement & Scholarship OpportunitiesMedical/Dental/Vision/401K MatchExcellent growth and advancement opportunitiesMission Driven Ohana & Dedicated Team CultureCompetitive pay and benefitsInterested?
