Comfort Keepers of Mid-Shore Maryland is actively seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for our State Clients throughout Chestertown, Worton, Rock Hall, Galena, Kennedyville, Betterton, and surrounding Kent County communities.
We have an immediate need for dependable CNAs who are available to work day shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Qualified applicants may be able to begin working as early as next week.

Immediate Day Shift Openings
We are currently hiring for:
- Day Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities.
- Weekday Schedules.
- Additional hours may become available based on client needs.
Pay Details:
State Client Assignments (Immediate Need).
- $17.50 per hour.
- One-on-one care in clients' homes.
- Consistent daytime schedules.
- Immediate openings available.
VA Client Opportunities
Experienced CNAs may also be considered for future VA assignments offering:
- Up to $18.50 per hour.
- Primarily Monday–Friday schedules.
- Consistent caregiver/client matching whenever possible.
Responsibilities:
As a Comfort Keepers CNA, you will help seniors remain safe and independent by providing compassionate in-home care, including:
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
- Mobility assistance and transfers.
- Medication reminders.
- Meal preparation.
- Light housekeeping and laundry.
- Companionship and conversation.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition.
- Completing accurate shift documentation.
- Following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have:
- Active Maryland CNA Certification (Required).
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Current automobile insurance.
- CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
