CaregiverSupporting Clients Safely and Comfortably at HomeGuardian Angel Senior Services is seeking mature, responsible Homemakers to provide support services that help disabled or dependent individuals remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.Key ResponsibilitiesAccept only assignments for which you are qualifiedFollow safety standards and agency policiesCommunicate promptly with the agency about concernsComplete documentation accurately and on timeMaintain strict client confidentialityReport any concerns of abuse or neglectMaintain a professional, therapeutic relationship with clientsKeep email access for schedules and updatesWear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Maintain a clean, insured vehicleCore TasksHousehold Services:Plan, prepare, and serve mealsShop for food and household suppliesMake beds, clean, dust, mop, and vacuumClean bathrooms and kitchensWash dishesObservation & Reporting:Report changes in client's physical, mental, or behavioral conditionReport changes in family situation or emergenciesCommunicate requests for service plan or schedule changesTraining & QualificationsCPR/First Aid, Alzheimer's, or Hospice certifications are a plusAble to read, write, and speak EnglishPhysically and emotionally capable of the rolePrior home care experience helpfulLimitationsHomemakers may NOT:Perform personal care or transfersAdminister medicationsProvide medical adviceCut nailsShare personal contact informationWork privately for clientsProvide transportation unless authorizedHandle banking, legal documents, or purchase alcohol/lottery ticketsScheduling & ExpectationsAll scheduling coordinated by office staffProvide weekly availabilityAnnual performance evaluations after 90-day probationGuardian Angel Senior Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
