Vista Senior Living Management is building our Vista Senior Flex Team – a PRN float pool supporting every community in our Northeast Ohio network – and we are seeking Caregivers and CNAs to join us!

Position: Caregiver / CNA, PRN

As a member of the Vista Senior Flex Team, you are not tied to one building. You pick up open shifts across our communities based on your availability, including:

• Maple Ridge Senior Living – Willoughby, OH
• Eden Vista Stow – Stow, OH
• Our newly acquired communities in the Strongsville and Beachwood areas

This is a PRN (as-needed) role built for flexibility. You choose the shifts that fit your schedule, work in a variety of settings, and get to know teams and residents across the Vista network.

Job Description

• Pick up open caregiving shifts at any Vista community in the Northeast Ohio region based on posted needs and your availability.
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, escort service, dining, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set out by the supervisor at the assigned community.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document a daily log of assistance and chart per facility policy.
• Inform the supervisor or nurse on duty of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
• Become familiar with the emergency equipment and procedures at each community you serve.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers at every location.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in long-term care, Assisted Living, or Memory Care preferred, not required – we will train the right person.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to multiple communities.
• Ability to commit to a minimum number of shifts per month (discussed at interview).
• Able to pass a background check and any pre-employment screening required by state regulation.
• You love working with people and handle everyday challenges with a smile!
