Senior Helpers of Spokane caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. And we take care to fit your area of expertise and experience with the seniors you’ll care for.

Examples of Job Duties: What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like?

  • Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
  • Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
  • Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
  • Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living (ADL’s)
  • Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

 

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate and reliable attitude
  • Passionate about helping others
  • You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
  • You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

HCA & CNA Applicants Encouraged:

Washington State Home Care Aides (HCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are strongly encouraged to apply. We value your training, experience, and commitment to providing exceptional care. Candidates with care giving certifications may be eligible for a faster on boarding process and starting rate of pay.

 

Pay Range:

  • $20-$24
    • Depends on experience / certification / tenure
    • Differentials for weekends/ holidays / couple’s care
