Caregiver (Consistent Schedule!) Location: Tucson, AZ Pay: $18/ hour (part time) UCPSA is seeking 1-2 confident, compassionate, and experienced caregivers to support an older adult male who lives in central Tucson. This is a highly consistent, predictable role—ideal for someone who values routine and a dependable schedule. Why this role works: Reliable schedule (this member rarely cancels) Routine based shift with member able to communicate their needs Opportunity to make a meaningful impact with one individual What you’ll do: -Utilize a hoyer lift to get in/out of bed and in/out of wheelchair -Dressing -Assistance with toileting (urinal and bed pan) -Bathing/Toothbrushing -Meal Prep/Light Housekeeping Who you are: -Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities -Comfortable with a high level of personal care and confident working with individuals who may be non-verbal or who have limited verbal communication -Calm, patient, and steady under pressure -Reliable and committed to a consistent weekly schedule -Experience with lifts and transfers strongly preferred! Available Shifts -Sunday 5pm-11pm -Monday 5pm-11pm -Tuesday 8am-3pm and 5pm-11pm -Thursday 5pm-11pm -Saturdays 5:30pm-11pm Requirements: 18 years of age or older Ability to travel independently to client’s visits Ability to obtain a FA/CPR certification Successful fingerprint and DES/CPS/APS clearance Ability to work without direct supervision Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of caregiving At United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona, we value a diverse, inclusive workforce and we provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees.
