Caregiver – Flexible Shifts | $18–$23/hr | Orange County

CareWorks Health Services is hiring Caregivers throughout Orange County!

Whether you're an experienced caregiver or looking to grow your experience in home care, we're looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team.

Position Details

• Position: Caregiver / Home Care Aide

• Pay:$18–$23 per hour

• Pay Schedule: Weekly – direct deposit every Friday

• Location: Clients throughout Orange County

• Schedule: Flexible

• Shift Availability: Morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts depending on client needs

• Scheduling: Open shifts are communicated by text, email, or directly through our schedulers

• Care Setting: One-on-one, in-home care

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience as a caregiver

• Must have an HCA (Home Care Aide) number or be willing to obtain one

• Must be willing to complete a required Live Scan/background check

• Dependable and responsible

• Compassionate and respectful toward clients

• Able to assist with activities of daily living and personal care

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

HCA & Live Scan

• HCA registration: approximately $35

• Live Scan: approximately $70–$90, depending on location

• Eligible HCA and Live Scan fees are reimbursable after completing 30 hours of shifts with CareWorks Health Services

Your Responsibilities May Include

• Personal care and hygiene

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Incontinence care

• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Fall prevention and safety support

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines

• Companionship and client engagement

• Grocery shopping and approved errands

• Accompanying clients to appointments and approved outings
