Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is hiring caregivers throughout Southern Maryland, and we're looking for compassionate, dependable people who want to make a difference—one client at a time.

What You'll Do

As a caregiver, you may help clients with:

• Companionship and meaningful conversation• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care• Meal preparation• Medication reminders• Mobility and transfer assistance• Light housekeeping• Transportation and errands, when applicable• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment• Supporting clients with their daily routines and independence

Every client is different—and we'll work to match caregivers with opportunities based on experience, skills, availability, and location.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for caregivers who are:

• Compassionate and patient• Dependable and punctual• Comfortable working independently in a client's home• Good communicators• Committed to providing consistent, high-quality care

Experience with Parkinson's disease, dementia, mobility assistance, transfers, or other specialized care is a plus.

What You Can Expect

• Pay: $16.00–$19.00/hour based on experience and assignment• Training Pay: $15.00/hour• Flexible day, evening, weekend, overnight, and PRN opportunities• Typically 12–40 hours per week based on availability and client needs• Overtime opportunities• Mileage reimbursement• Paid training and ongoing development• Referral and performance bonuses• Maryland Saves Retirement Program• LifeMart Discount Program• Support from a responsive local office team

Where We Serve

Opportunities may be available throughout:

Waldorf, La Plata, Clinton, Ft. Washington, Brandywine, Accokeek, Oxon Hill, Temple Hills, Suitland, District Heights, White Plains, and surrounding Southern Maryland communities.

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience• Valid driver's license• Auto insurance and reliable transportation• Negative TB test• Authorization to work in the U.S.• Ability to complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding
