Job Summary We are seeking a Caregiver (also known as Direct Support Professional or DSP) to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of adults and seniors with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting and/or teaching resident how to manage their hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the resident's living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is person-centered, patient, compassionate, and reliable.
Current Needs Weekends - Day, Swing, and Evening shifts Limited Weekdays - Day, Swing, Split, and Evening shifts
Responsibilities
Assist and/or teach resident how to perform their personal hygiene needs and dressing
Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
Assist and/or teach resident how to prepare their own meals and snacks
Assist and/or teach resident light housekeeping activities based on their plan of care
Dispense medication
Provide and/or teach resident socialization skills
Assist and/or teach resident planning for meals, community activities, and in-home activities
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred but not required
First aid and CPR-certified
Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
