Caregiver & CNA Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, gait belts, and Hoyer lifts when needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
- Assist stroke recovery and hospice clients as directed by the care plan.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
- Monitor client condition and report changes to office staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
- Follow individualized care plans and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or Home Care experience
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must provide TB test results or chest X-ray within 10 days of hire
