Job Summary
Senior Home Care of Central Ohio is a provider of in-home non-medical services for our elderly community. We are looking for a compassionate qualified caregiver who will treat our clients like family, providing the dignity, respect and quality service they deserve. WE OFFER PREMIUM PAY! OUR EMPLOYEES ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO US! Duties include:

• Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity (which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing)
• Assisting with dressing, oral hygiene, bathing and toileting
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Reminding clients of medications
• Exercise encouragement including Ambulation/Mobility Assistance
• Socialization visits
• Light housekeeping
• Errand assistance (organization, appointments and grocery lists etc.)
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social activity
• Other responsibilities may include Alzheimer's care depending on your level of training and experience

Responsibilities 

• A clean criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
• Previous employer reference checks
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

 Requirements
      Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma with one of the following:

• State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Home Health Aide (HHA)
• 1 year continuous caregiving experience with no certification
