Community Living Connections (CLC) is hiring Caregivers to support adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and the community. This role is also known as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Supported Living Staff (SLS).
This is a great opportunity for people interested in human services, caregiving, psychology, social work, education, or healthcare careers, but no experience is required. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
Many of our caregivers come from backgrounds such as customer service, retail, hospitality, childcare, food service, or teaching assistants.

Position Details
- Position: Caregiver (Supported Living Specialist)
- Location: Platteville, WI
- Full-Time Schedule
- Pay: $17 per hour + mileage reimbursement

Paid Time Off
Full-time employees begin earning PTO immediately:
- Sick Time: 3.69 hours every two weeks
- Vacation/Holiday Time: 3.08 hours every two weeks
- This equals 170+ hours of paid time off earned in your first year based on a full-time 40 hours a week schedule.
What You'll Do
- Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and organization
- Help individuals participate in community activities and hobbies
- Provide companionship and build positive relationships
- Assist with transportation, errands, and budgeting
- Follow support plans and document progress
- Work with managers and care teams to provide high-quality support
Basic Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Reliable vehicle with insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals when needed
