Role Description The Caregiver role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Indianapolis area. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Caregivers help with light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, running errands, and providing transportation to appointments as needed. The role includes monitoring clients’ well-being, following care plans, reporting changes in condition to supervisors, and maintaining accurate care notes. Caregivers also offer companionship, engage clients in meaningful activities, and collaborate with families and care teams to promote safety, comfort, and dignity.

  • Ability to provide person-centered care, including assistance with daily living tasks, mobility support, and basic personal care.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, offer companionship, and collaborate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • \n
  • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in following care plans, documenting services, and reporting concerns or changes in client condition.
  • \n
  • Capacity to work safely, including understanding basic infection control, maintaining a clean environment, and following organizational policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Comfort working with diverse populations, demonstrating patience, empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions.
  • \n
  • Ability to work full time in the Greater Indianapolis area, including reliable transportation to client homes and flexibility in scheduling.
  • \n
  • Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal) is preferred; experience with older adults or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • \n
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant caregiving training, certifications (such as CNA or HHA), or willingness to complete employer-provided training are beneficial.
