**Description** PeaceHealth is seeking a Caregiver Health Clinical Coordinator for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $28.73 - $43.09. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Job Summary Under the supervision of an RN, this role follows standards of clinical practice in occupational health. Provides administrative, project management, and technical support services within the Employee Health Department through data reporting, analysis and process improvements for compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and accrediting bodies. Coordinates identified department projects to align with community and system compliance efforts. Essential Functions + Coordinates routine and critical operational aspects of the Caregiver Health clinic, such as appointment schedule, supplies, opening and closing the clinic, and operational teamwork. + Conducts TB screening and immunization of healthcare workers against specific illnesses under the supervision of an RN. + Conducts pre-employment immunization screenings and assesses needs for education and immunizations according to specific job classifications and under the supervision of an RN. + As needed supports body fluid exposure investigations to blood borne pathogens as well as other exposures to contagious diseases utilizing, comprehensive case management approach. + Maintains programs and services as required for compliance with regulatory standards and mandates. + Participates in the development and implementation of new policies, programs and continuous quality improvement initiatives with support from manager and team as needed + Coordinates the set up and organization of vaccine clinics and other large-scale Employee Health projects and programs with support from manager and team as needed. + Conducts N95 Fit testing & PAPR training in accordance withthe Respiratory Protection Plan. + Maintains confidential healthcare worker medical files. + Contributes to department data reporting by interpreting safety data reports as needed. + Participates in implementing caregiver safety initiatives, attends assigned community committees. + Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education + Bachelor's Degree Preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience + Minimum of 5 years Required: Occupational health, clinic or outpatient experience and + Required: Knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles to meet each patient's needs Credentials + Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support + Required: State of Washington Medical Assistant - certified licensure + Preferred: National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Skills + Knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles to meet each patient's needs. (Required) + Knowledge of OSHA regulations, occupational safety, occupational exposure management, injury/illness intervention and case management (Required) + Ability to operate a personal computer: proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required) + Strong verbal and written communication skills. (Required) + Strong customer service skills. (Required) + Ability to adhere to quality, safety and infection control standards. (Required) Working Conditions Lifting + Patient handling no greater than 35 lbs. without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices (NIOSH). + Ability to move around area with occasional sitting. + Frequent Manual Dexterity and Tactile Sensitivity. + Frequent push/ pull/ carry/ stoop/ bend/ reach. + Occasional Kneeling. Environmental Conditions + Exposure to biohazard, body fluids and airborne particles. + Time spent on site in medical/hospital setting. Mental/Visual + Vision and hearing required within normal limits (glasses, contacts, hearing aids permitted). + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
