Typical Schedule Availability:
Morning shifts: approximately 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Short or split shifts: approximately 2–3 hours
Standard shifts: approximately 4–6 hours
Extended shifts: approximately 7–12 hours, including daytime and overnight opportunities
Private-duty home care schedules are based on current client needs, caregiver availability, location, and experience. Hours and schedules may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility
Provide medication reminders and observe and report changes in condition
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Follow dietary instructions listed in the client’s care plan
Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and general tidying
Provide companionship and appropriate activities
Complete required documentation using the WellSky app
Provide transportation for errands or appointments when required by the care plan
Follow client care plans and instructions from supervisors or nursing staff
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License
Current Auto Insurance
Reliable Transportation
Eligibility for AHCA Level 2 background screening, or willingness to complete the required screening: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
Current in-person CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
TB test within the required timeframe or qualifying chest X-ray, or willingness to obtain
Ability to communicate clearly and complete required documentation
Dependable attendance and professional conduct
