Caregiver 2 – Community Home Care

Union City, CA | $21.00–$24.00/hour | Contract-to-Hire | Immediate Openings

We're hiring! We have two immediate openings for compassionate and dependable Caregiver 2 – Community Home Care professionals to support seniors in the Union City/East Bay community.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a strong possibility of permanent employment as our client continues to expand. Candidates must be available to work 20+ hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.

Position Details

• Location: Union City, CA (Community/Home Care)

• Pay: $21.00–$24.00 per hour

• Schedule: Minimum 20 hours per week

• Shifts available Monday–Sunday between:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Position #332935)

  • 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Position #340931)

• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required based on patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Grooming

  • Toileting

  • Peri-care

  • Meal preparation and feeding

  • Laundry and light housekeeping

• Safely transfer and assist clients using a Hoyer Lift.

• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions.

• Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment.

• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and the care team.

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiver experience working with seniors or the elderly.

• Current CNA, HHA, CPR, and First Aid certifications required.

• Experience using a Hoyer Lift required.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Reliable transportation preferred (public transportation is acceptable).

• Comfortable providing care in clients' homes and community settings.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
