Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, DSPs, and Home Care Assistants to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and adults in Merrillville, Crown Point, Lake County, Porter County, and surrounding communities.

Caregiver Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders only
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Use mobile app for scheduling and documentation
- Follow agency safety and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Preferred 2 years caregiving experience (Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP, or similar)
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a national background check
- CPR certification and TB test preferred or willing to obtain
- Dependable, patient, and professional
- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication and scheduling
