About the Role:A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Aberdeen, MD! Responsibilities:- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed
- Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors
Requirements:- Prior caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a dependable, punctual work ethic
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients
