Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
Serve meals and assist residents with eating when necessary
Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes in condition to supervisors
Provide companionship and emotional support
Maintain clean and organized resident rooms and common areas
Assist with laundry and light housekeeping duties
Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents
Follow care plans, facility policies, and safety procedures
Administer prescribed medications following patients care plan per physician orders
Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.Immediately

Qualifications

Previous caregiver, personal care aide, or direct care experience preferred
Compassionate and patient attitude
Ability to work well with elderly and disabled residents
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable attendance and professional behavior
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Must pass background check and any required screenings
Certified Medication Technician (preferred)
