Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in Campbellton Road, Atlanta, GA.


This is a full-time, permanent position offering 40 hours per week with a client who is looking for a dedicated caregiver to start as soon as possible. You will provide one-on-one care in the client’s home, assisting with activities of daily living and providing companionship while helping the client maintain independence and quality of life.


The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, and able to work independently while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.


Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility
  • Assist clients with safe transfers in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs
  • Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding, if needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Observe and report changes in the client’s condition to the supervising nurse or agency
  • Provide medication reminders according to the client’s care plan
  • Assist with exercises and activities that promote independence and well-being

Qualifications

  • Current PCA certification or documented professional caregiving experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional caregiving experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week on a permanent weekday day shift
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Must be able to start ASAP
