About the role

Griswold Home Care, founded in 1982 by Jean Griswold, is one of the country's oldest and most established non-medical home care providers. In the Fargo-Moorhead area, our caregivers help seniors and adults with disabilities live independently at home. No experience or license is needed to start. If you have a caring heart, we will train you. This is a great entry point into home care, senior care, and personal care aide (PCA) work.

Full-time, part-time, or weekends only, your choice. Some of our caregivers want full-time hours, some want a few steady part-time shifts, and some only want to work weekends. All of those work here. Tell us what fits your life and we will build a schedule around it.

What you will do

As a caregiver, companion, and personal care aide, you help clients stay comfortable and independent in their own homes.

• Companionship and emotional support for seniors.
• Help with activities of daily living (ADLs) like grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Watch for changes in a client's health or behavior and report them to the care team.
• Follow each client's care plan and keep accurate daily records.

What we are looking for

• A caring, dependable personality. No experience or certification needed.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach clients.
• Availability for day, evening, or weekend shifts.
• Comfortable helping seniors with personal care and companionship.
