CAREGIVER (PART-TIME) | WEEKDAY AFTERNOONS | NEVADA, IOWA

Are you a confident caregiver who enjoys helping older adults stay independent while knowing when to step in for safety?
At Home Instead, we're hiring 2–3 dependable Caregivers for recurring weekday afternoon visits with an older adult in Nevada, Iowa.
This is a great opportunity to build a relationship with one client while providing the hands-on support that helps him remain safely at home.
Consistent Weekday Afternoon Hours
We're looking for availability during:
- Monday–Friday
- Approximately 12:00/1:00 PM – 4:30/5:00 PM
- Don't need all five days — consistent availability for multiple afternoons is welcome
- Opportunities for additional hours
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour
- Paid orientation and ongoing paid training

What You'll Do
You'll provide one-on-one support that helps an older adult stay safe, comfortable, and involved in his own care. Responsibilities include:
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Gait-belt transfers and mobility support with a walker
- Catheter-related personal care
- Meal preparation and hydration
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship and conversation
He can communicate what he wants and participate in his care. The right caregiver will help without taking over, move at his pace, and stay attentive to mobility and fall safety.
