Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Help with light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow care plans and ensure compliance with all safety and health standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and families.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Romulus, MI.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
