Caregiver I – Adult Day Health Center

Pay: $24.00–$26.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract: 3+ Months with Potential for Extension

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver I to support multiple elderly and frail participants in an Adult Day Health Center. This is a hands-on caregiving position focused on helping participants maintain their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and peri-care

• Provide mobility and escort assistance

• Assist with meals and feeding as needed

• Observe and report changes in participant condition

• Follow individualized care plans and established safety procedures

• Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities

• Complete basic care documentation

• Collaborate with nurses and other members of the healthcare team

Requirements

• Active CNA or HHA certification

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Previous experience providing hands-on care to elderly or frail individuals

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable supporting multiple participants in a center-based environment
