Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregiver to assist individuals in their home or healthcare setting. As a caregiver, you will provide support to clients with daily living activities, ensuring their well-being, safety, and comfort. Your role will involve both physical and emotional support for elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or those recovering from surgery or illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting).
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance.
- Administer medications and assist with mobility.
- Light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Monitor clients' health conditions and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and exercises as needed.
- Ensure the client’s home is safe and comfortable.
- Maintain records of client progress and activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a healthcare role is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and with empathy.
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
